When Adding Our Salt Based Softener
Ion exchange softeners have been around for decades. The technology behind the process hasn’t changed however the technology in the systems is leaps and bounds ahead of where it all started. The systems today are more efficient and have much less waste than they ever have.
The system has resin inside the tank that is washed in a sodium solution. That sodium solution is drawn out of a tank known as the brine tank that holds the salt. Depending on the hardness of your water and water usage the system will automatically “regenerate” which means clean the resin beads of the hardness and reset them with the sodium.
SpringWell uses a state of the art Connected Series bluetooth head to achieve this. The Connected Series head has set the standard when it comes to ion exchange technology and is a workhorse in the industry for its quality and efficiency. How Our Well Water Filter System Works
The SpringWell Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System is a single tank system that is an efficient and cost-effective system for the removal of Iron, Sulfur and Manganese! The SpringWell AIO maintains an “air pocket” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As the water passes through the air pocket, iron, sulfur, and manganese is oxidized. Additionally, dissolved oxygen will add to the water. The SpringWell AIO System then filters the oxidized iron, sulfur and if present, manganese from the water.

That is not the case with the FutureSoft system. Again, years of experience and thorough testing led us to design a tank and internal parts that fluidize the media bed better than any other design on the market. Fluidization is the key to forming calcite crystals. The FutureSoft media converts the hardness in the water to calcite crystals which will not stick to anything even under extreme temperatures. It’s only with the media and the fluidization properly working together that you can achieve this.
